- How long will it take to receive my custom order?

I will discuss my current wait time whenever I am providing your quote. Please note that the wait time is a general guide/estimation and on some rare instances a situation outside of my control may lead to a slightly longer wait time (I will always keep you informed if this happens). The wait times do not include delivery times but please see below for the shipping time estimations:

UK: 1-2 working days

International: 3-10 working days

 

- Why is my order taking so long to arrive?

If you have received an email saying your order has been dispatched, and the approximate shipping times have passed, then it is possible your item may be stuck in customs. I am not responsible for these delays and this can sometimes add a couple of weeks onto shipping times. Please take this into account when ordering.

If your order tracking says "Delivered", and you still have not received your package you should contact the shipping provider immediately. They should be able to locate your package for you. If they cannot, a claim needs to be filed with them as soon as possible. I am not responsible for lost or stolen packages.

If you have put in the wrong address at checkout and your package is sent back to me, you will have to cover the fees to reship the order. I am not responsible for incorrect addresses.

 

Why have I been charged customs fees for receiving my parcel?

I am not responsible for international duties, taxes, and/or customs fees. These are not included in the shipping cost. Please make sure you are familiar with your country's import charges before ordering as they will be your responsibility to pay.

 

- Can I cancel my order?

Yes. At the beginning of the custom order process I ask for a non-refundable £100 deposit (this is to cover the cost of materials that I purchase for your order) should you choose to cancel the order, I will keep the £100 deposit and if I am already in the process of making the gear I reserve the right to make small amendments to the design and sell it on to someone else - this helps to prevent fabric and time being wasted due to cancelled orders.

 

- Can I get a refund or exchange?

Unfortunately I do not offer refunds or exchanges as all of my products are made to order and custom. If there are any issues with your items then please contact me at contact@amydonalddesign.com and I will try my best to help fix the issue.

 

- How do I care for my custom pieces?

- What size should I order?

As all items are non refundable, it’s very important to get your size right. I will request a specific set of measurements from you when you’re placing your order and let you know how to take them. When using a measuring tape, do not pull it too tight or hold it too loose. It may help to have a friend or family member help measure you. I will not be held responsible for items that don't fit, so please take care when measuring yourself.
